Maria is the final volume of Trutz Hardo's spiritual-historical
In the book, the "apprentice" Reader passes his "final examination".
Having come to know the inner and outer laws and knowing how to apply and put them into practice, the Reader has joined the ranks of the initiates.
In addition, the Author confers the authorship upon the Reader, putting him in charge of continuing the novel.
Among other things, Author and Reader take a look at the historic events transpiring in Silesia as well as in Russia's prisoner-of-war camps during and after the
war. After his divorce from Lilia, Molar puts his children into boarding school or with other families while continuing to court Maria. Her love for him is put to a hard test before they finally
get engaged, with her parents' consent, on New Year's Eve.
