Maria - About the Colours

The "Author" asks the "Reader" to help co-create an epic work of art. Their powers of imagination allow them to travel to any place and time. Here they can appear in any guise, take part in events, influence those involved and read their minds by means of telepathy. To distinguish themselves from the characters and events of the novel, the Author has chosen the colour dark blue and the Reader the colour yellow.

The events of 1949 are narrated in the present tense and shown in red. Past events, which are also recounted in the present tense, appear in orange. Inspired thoughts are shown in light blue, normal thoughts in green. Everything otherwordly appears in violet. The use of seven colours (they are the colours of the rainbow) adds a new dimension to the art of narrative and provides an enriched reading pleasure.
